Greenhouse of the Future offers step-by-step guides to living off-grid and in harmony with nature
(True Activist) The Greenhouse of the Future project aims to teach people all over the world how to build their own eco-homes (and even whole communities) through a combination of several emerging technologies such as permaculture, passive solar energy, living buildings, cold frames, Earthships and bio-intensive agriculture. It is the brainchild of Francis Gendron, a graduate of the Earthship Academy in Taos, New Mexico. Gendron decided to apply the concepts of radically sustainable buildings to the field of greenhouses, and has created a program to educate the rest of us on how to do the same. If you are interested in permaculture, saving money, self sufficiency and natural living, this is for you. If you have ever wanted to learn more about radically sustainable technologies, clean energy and to grow your own organic produce, Gendron’s project will be a useful starting point.
